Documents of the Party of Labour of Albania 21 – 30
These pages include documents and decisions of the Central Committee of the Party of Labour of Albania and other state organisations of the Albanian state. Also there are articles that were originally published in ‘Zeri i Popullit’, the official newspaper of the CC of the PLA.
I apologise if some of the reproductions are a little messy. The paper used in the 1960/70s does not age well and I hope that the ‘staining’ doesn’t cause any problems. As far as I’m concerned the text (which, after all, is the most important) is still clear and legible.
Documents of the Party of Labour of Albania 1 – 10, 11 – 20, 31 – 40, 41 – 50
Speech delivered at the Commemorative Meeting on the Occasion of the 60th Anniversary of the Great Socialist October Revolution (November 7, 1977), by Hysni Kapo, Member of the Politburo of the Party of Labour of Albania.
Written by Nexhmije Hoxha, Director of Marxist-Leninist Studies at the Central Committee of the Party of Labour of Albania in 1977
The following document is in two parts.
This book comprises the reports and a number of papers read at the Scientific Session ‘Soviet Revisionism and the Struggle of the PLA to Unmask it’, organised by the Institute of Marxist-Leninist Studies at the CC of the PLA on 17-18 November, 1980. The reports and papers are published in an abridged form.
Although not technically statements by the PLA the following two documents were published in Tirana and therefore reflect the views of the Party at that time.
Taken from the newspaper ‘No Transar’, Organ of the Communist Party (ML) of Argentina, No 192, January 12, 1977
Reprinted from the newspaper ‘Zeri i Popullit’, central organ of the CC of the PLA, November 4, 1977.

Contains three speeches by Enver Hoxha, Mehmet Shehu and Haxhi Lleshi on the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of Albanian Independence in November 1962
Speech to the General Assembly of the United Nations given by Foreign Minister Nesti Nase on October 2nd 1972

Tell me please right now is the Patry of Labor of Albania? and where official site? Please link
The revolutionary Party of Labour no longer exists. After a period of chaos it morphed into a Social Democratic capitalist party. Why the revolutionaries in the PLA didn’t fight against that I don’t know. This is a problem that we have to look at and try to understand how revolutionary Marxist-Leninist parties can be so easily turned.
I’ve now scanned “The History of the Socialist Construction of Albania”: https://archive.org/details/TheHistoryOfTheSocialistConstructionOfAlbania
Thanks for that Thomas. I’ve downloaded the document and will eventually place it on my blog. Before I do that I’ll have to break it up into two parts as it’s far too big for me to download – WordPress won’t allow it. Could you also send me a scan of the front page? that would be useful to show what’s inside.
For the past two months 78 persons from 11 communities voted which Albanian books should get scanned by Professor Grover Furr. The top results are as follows:
* Questions of the Albanian Folklore (1963) [14 votes]
* 40 Years of Socialist Albania: Statistical Data on the Development of the Economy and Culture (1984) [11 votes]
* Selected Albanian Songs and Sketches (of Migjeni) [8 votes]
* With Stalin (by Hoxha, 1984 edition) [7 votes]
* Shameful Failure of the Political and Economic System Of Titoite Yugoslavia [7 votes]
* The Albanian Woman: A Great Force of the Revolution (1978) [7 votes]
Do you have any of these? If so we could have another work scanned instead from among those that got 6 votes.
I am wondering if you have the following works; if not then I will try scanning the copies I own.
* Some Questions of Socialist Construction in Albania and of the Struggle Against Revisionism
* The National Conference of Studies on the Anti-fascist National Liberation War of the Albanian People
* The Albanians and Their Territories
* Our Enver (by Alia)
* Report to the 9th Congress of the Party of Labour of Albania (by Alia)
* Report on the Role and Tasks of the Democratic Front for the Complete Triumph of Socialism in Albania (by Hoxha)
* Two Opposing Lines in the World Trade Union Movement
* From the Annals of British Diplomacy (on British intrigue in Albania during WWII)
* Problems of the Struggle for the Complete Emancipation of Women
* The History of the Socialist Construction of Albania
BTW a book you should look into acquiring is “A Tangled Web: A History of Anglo-American Relations with Albania,” it was published in Britain by the Albanian Society and could be put online.
Oh, also, another book I have and could scan if you don’t have it:
* The History of Albania: A Brief Survey (by Kristo Frashëri)
I don’t have this one.
I have now scanned it: http://www.scribd.com/doc/182788795/The-History-of-Albania-A-Brief-Survey
Hello Thomas
I would like to add this book to my site but it is too big to be downloaded to my server (there’s a limit which this exceeds).
May I make a couple of suggestions?
When you scan books of many pages trim to what is necessary. This reduces the final pdf file size.
Also, if not important, e.g., the front page or colour images, scan the rest of the document in black and white. This also drastically reduces file size.
Good on you for making available otherwise difficult to obtain documents.
Hello Thomas. The only one I have of your list is the Conference of the Anti-Fascist Liberation War. In fact, I already have a scanned version, I just haven’t decided where exactly to post it, probably I’ll create another page. That might be a home for the other documents that aren’t associated directly with any of the Albanian leaders.
Perhaps you could rename the “History of the Party of Labour of Albania” page to Albanian History and include it there. The actual History of the PLA book is practically a history of the country after 1944 anyway.
Hello Thomas
I’ll look into that suggestion. Things happen so that the original plan, arrangement of the blog etc., doesn’t adapt to new developments. But I hope to keep the arrangement of documents logical so when the full History of the Party of Labour of Albania is available I’ll probably make your suggested change.
It is. The 1982 edition at least.
